  1. what a sad, hopeless photo. important, of course. but so sad.

  2. Poor little sweet things!!!!!!!!!! I hope if they were still alive they were picked up and put in a warm blanket and comforted and maybe a little water to help revive them. If they were dead then that is the saddest photo I’ve been unfortunate enough to have seen.

    • It was a cruel scene indeed. Have a look at the next post. I hope it takes away some of the sadness. Sometimes when Nature dishes out some harsh goods, a human hand softens the blow!

  3. it is a sad picture. but what a regal couple. i think of shakespearean kings and queens but i do not know why.

    maybe this: “God sees the little sparrow fall, it meets His tender view; if God so loves the little birds, i know He loves me, too.”
